Snow Kite Lessons & Rentals

lake dillon kite skiingLessons are given on a flat, groomed, snow packed surface in an area away from the general public for safety reasons. The Kite Park is at Farmer’s Corner on Lake Dillon next to Summit High School and Swan Mountain Road and is about a ten minute bus or car ride from Frisco. Lessons may also be held at the Dillon Marina to ensure optimal wind conditions. Participants should bring helmet, gloves, goggles, skis or snowboard, boots, snacks, something for hydration. Wear layers that can be removed with a wind proof shell on top. When you are all done you will want to change into some dry clothes or put on more layers again. Skis or snowboard and helmet may be rented or you can also provide your own.
