These Class III rapids, Class IV rapids and Class V rapids are perfect for those who do not have a lot of time to spend on their rafting experience. Most of these Clear Creek rafting trips can be combined with a Zip Line Adventure.

Trip Option 1 | Clear Creek Beginner Gold Rush Whitewater Raft Trip

The river section packs in eleven Class III rapids as you paddle and splash your way down the Creek. This is a fun whitewater trip that is ideal for all abilities. The Clear Creek office is close to both the Front Range including Denver and Boulder and also is only a short drive from Summit County.

Cost: $54 – $59 adult, $49 – $54 child 6-12
Minimum: 6 and 50lbs

Trip Option 1 | Half Day Intermediate Upper Clear Creek Whitewater Raft Trip

Starting high in the canyon, there is just enough time to warm up before you drop into the first Class IV rapids. Enjoy this steep, technical section that will keep your paddle moving. This is a physically demanding trip and will get your heart pumping.

Trip Option 2 | Intermediate Outer Limits Whitewater Raft Trip


raft browns canyon coloradoEnjoy a 3/4 day of whitewater rafting on Clear Creek. Start out the day on our intermediate section, with rapids like Phoenix, Nomad, and Outer Limits. This steep, technical stretch will keep your heart rate up until lunch. Lunch is riverside BBQ. After lunch you will enjoy beautiful scenery and easier rapids, that build up to the day’s exciting finale of Upper and Lower Beaver Falls. These rapids can be tricky so there is a minimum age and you must be in good physical condition.

Trip Option 1 | Half Day Advanced Lower Canyon Whitewater Rafting Trip

Blast down the Lower Canyon of Clear Creek and enjoy one of the most continuous sections of whitewater in Colorado, only 30 minutes from Denver. Rush through impressive scenery and an even more impressive gradient that drops 50 feet/mile through the canyon. The trip starts off with a bang with the infamous Beavers, two steep drops that are sure to get your attention. In the canyon, the excitement is non-stop through rapids like Guide Ejector, Hell’s Corner, and Corkscrew.

The perfect trip for adrenaline seekers, the advanced, full-day trip offers nearly 20 miles of thrilling whitewater. Start out the morning with an advanced Class IV+ section not available on any of our other trips. Splash down through intermediate sections, past the town of Idaho Springs, where you will break for lunch before taking on the most challenging Class V stretch of the river.
