Tour Option 1 | Frisco Bike Vail Pass Tour


biking coloradoThis tour starts in Frisco and includes your transportation to the top of Vail Pass. Your bike must be rented separately. The ride down from the pass only takes about an hour. If you opt for a half day bike rental, you will have the bike for more activities. So after you ride the pass, you can keep your bike and go further than Frisco on the Summit County bike path, either towards Breckenridge or Dillon. Or you might want to take your bike on the Lake Dillon Water Taxi from Frisco to Dillon, take in lunch at the Island Grill at the Frisco Marina or the Tiki Bar at the Dillon Marina and ride back to Frisco around Lake Dillon. There are also a lot of activities if you choose to stop at Copper Mountain before returning to Frisco.

Tour Option 2 | Keystone Bike Vail Pass – Easy Tour to Frisco


frisco co mountain bikingThis is a 12 mile coasting bike trip on paved trail from the top of Vail Pass through Copper Mountain Resort ending in the town of Frisco. This trip is perfect for families and folks that just want spectacular views and not much peddling. Most participants in this trip will stop at Copper Mountain and take a scenic chairlift ride, play miniature golf, scale the rock climbing wall, ride go-carts, visit shops in the village, have a picnic, or have lunch at a local café. When finished at Copper the rider travels down to Frisco through the incredible Ten Mile Canyon on paved trail. Along this stretch of the trail the rider can stop and sit by one of the many beautiful mountain lakes, lounge by the stream, or visit an old mine. Once in Frisco you can also shop and dine.

Tour Option 4 | Keystone Bike Vail Pass – Advanced Tour to Keystone


mountain bike dillonThis is a 12 mile coasting bike trip on paved trail from the top of Vail Pass through Copper Mountain Resort ending in the town of Frisco, plus an extra 7 miles of easy/moderate peddling through the Town of Frisco to the Town of Dillon, and an extra 6 miles of low grade paved trail climbing from the Town of Dillon. The paved trail hugs the eastern shores of Lake Dillon, and then ends with a wooded ascent along the Snake River and the River Course golf course into Keystone. This trip is geared for riders that want a bit of a work out and longer time on the bike. The section of paved trail from Dillon to Keystone is gorgeous. Once riders enter the woods along the Snake River most riders think the moderate climbs are well worth it.

Tour Option 1 | Guided Mountain Bike Tour at Camp Hale

Pedal with ease on riding trails through historic Camp Hale. Follow the headwaters of the Eagle River, and stop and take pictures of fields of wildflowers along the way as you take in views of the Pando Valley, home of the famed 10th Mountain Division. On your tour, you will learn about the history of the area as you pedal along the scenic trails with scents of pine and spruce filling the air. Trails are generally downhill and are suitable for beginners and avid cyclists alike, and there are even bikes for children.
