Jeep Tours in Summit County Colorado
With over 15 trails from which to choose, experience the magnificent Rocky Mountains to an elevation of 12,000’ in varied locations within the White River National Forest. Following your morning Jeep tour, you will enjoy a made-to-order lunch at the beautiful Lodge at Camp Hale. Based in a National Historic Site, Camp Hale offers a great look into the past as the former training grounds of the famed 10th Mountain Division.

Tour Option 4 | Camp Hale Overnight Jeep Tours
If you would like to combine one of your guided jeep tours with an ATV tour mountain bike tour or paintballing, why not stay the night in one of the cabins at Camp Hale? Listed on the National Historic Register, Camp Hale was the home of the World War II 10th Mountain Division, whose members had such an impact on the Colorado ski industry after the war. The Pando Cabins are built of log and all contain 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen and fireplace and satellite TV. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed; the second bedroom has a full size bed. All of the living rooms have sleeper sofas that fold out into another full size bed, allowing total sleeping accommodations for six people. The cabins are nestled amongst pine trees and each has its own deck. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins.

Tour Option 5 | Self-Guided Jeep Tours
With Summit County’s rich mining history there are thousands of miles of back country roads that lead to spectacular vistas, old mines, wildlife viewing, and wildflower meadows. Jeeps are either Rubicons or are modified so that they have extra ground clearance. They have a 4 inch suspension lift and 33 or 35 inch 3 ply sidewall tires. All engines have 6 cylinders for extra power on steep roads and have low mileage. Jeeps have safari tops that are easy to take off and they hold four or five people. You will be given a map of the area and suggestions of where to go.
Cost: $225 per day Rubicon or modified Jeep, $260 per day 4 door 5 seat Rubicon, $160 Half Day, $60 Hourly
